Identify KNOTT Parts
KNOTT axles, couplings and drawbars have ID plates affixed.
The ID plate on a KNOTT Axle is RED and located in the centre of the axle. This is either a metal plate or a sticker.
The ID plate on a KNOTT coupling is BLACK and located at the top.
Please ensure that photos of KNOTT ID plates and visible so that our team can correctly identify the parts as quickly as possible.

KNOTT Coupling ID Plate
Located at the top of the coupling. Black in colour
Identify AL-KO Parts
AL-KO axles, couplings and drawbars have ID plates affixed.
The ID plate on an AL-KO Axle is GREEN and located in the centre of the axle. This is either a metal plate or a sticker.
The ID markings on an AL-KO Coupling are stamped into the top face of the coupling

AL-KO Axle ID Plate
Located near the centre of the axle. Plate or sticker. Green in colour
AL-KO Coupling ID Markings
Located at the top of the coupling. Stamped into the top face of the coupling.
Component ID plates are often confused for VIN plates which contain different important information. When supplying information it is important to have the ID plates and the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) if available.
