AL-KO ETI number search

The ETI number is AL-KO's identification number for a complete assembly — a particular wheel brake, overrun coupling, axle, hub or winch, for example. Every ETI number has its own AL-KO spare-parts drawing that lists each component in that assembly with its AL-KO drawing number, so you can order exactly the right part.

Look on the AL-KO type plate or label on the component itself. The ETI number is a six-digit number starting with 811 — for example 811001. If the plate is worn or missing, send us photos of the part and your trailer details and we'll help you identify it.

Many AL-KO parts look alike but differ in load rating, year of manufacture, left or right hand, cable length or stud pattern. The ETI number pins down the exact assembly fitted to your trailer, so you get the part designed for it the first time — no guesswork, no returns. AL-KO's own drawings ask for the ETI number with every order. On brakes and couplings, an exact match is about safety as much as convenience.

1. Find the part on the exploded diagram and note its item number.
2. Look up that item number in the parts table to get the AL-KO drawing number — that is the number to order by.
3. Check whether the item comes in variants (left or right hand, cable lengths, stud patterns, load ratings) and pick the one that matches your trailer.
4. Read the notes on the drawing — for example, some parts are only supplied as a set, and some self-locking nuts must be replaced once they have been undone.
5. Send us your ETI number and the drawing number(s) (a photo of your AL-KO type plate helps) and we'll confirm fitment and supply the genuine AL-KO part.

Save or print the PDF and keep it with your trailer's service records, so the next time a part wears out you have the numbers ready.

Where a part comes in variants — left and right hand, different cable lengths, stud patterns or load ratings — each variant is listed on its own line with its own drawing number. AL-KO updates its drawings over time, and the letter shows which revision you're looking at. Always order using the drawing numbers on the drawing for your ETI number.

Some AL-KO parts are only supplied as a set. On AL-KO wheel brakes such as ETI 811001, for example, brake shoes come as a set with their tension springs, pressure springs and cover plates. The notes on each drawing tell you when a part is sold as a set.
